Vendor Partner Spotlight: Solstice Herb Farm

Solstice Herb Farm was a Vendor Partner for the SimplyNCgoods November 2024 holiday-themed box.  Stephanie Fay, the apothecary behind Solstice Herb Farm, is our hometown neighbor and we’re excited to feature her as a Vendor Partner. She provided a hand-crafted, seasonally scented soap for this most recent subscription box from SimplyNCgoods.

Artisanal Soap Highlight

Stephanie shared some details about her soaps with us:

“Our artisan botanical soaps are made with premium plant-based butters and oils. Always phthalate-free and palm-free. We offer both artfully crafted and imaginative designs that we call utilitarian art, as well as minimalist beauty bars that highlight our herbal roots and represent our farm-to-skincare philosophy.”

The mini-size bar that Solstice Herb provided for the recent SimplyNCgoods box was named Holly & Ivy.  About this bar, Stephanie shared:  “It features a solid light green palette and is topped with white baby’s breath and gold sparkles. We’ve adorned each bar in a festive holiday gift wrapping that beautifully complements the bar’s aesthetic.”

We can attest that these bars look beautiful and smell wonderful, in addition to being gentle on the skin!

The Story of Solstice Herb Farm

Every small business has a story behind how it got started, and Solstice Herb Farm is no different.  We love learning the stories behind each of our Vendor Partners and are honored to be able to share their stories with you.

About Solstice Herb Farm:

“Hi! I’m Stephanie, the aromatic alchemist and skincare queen behind Solstice. Since 2014, we’ve been a staple in Pittsboro, [North Carolina] for herbal and plant-based skincare. Our cozy shop in downtown Pittsboro serves as both our skincare studio and retail boutique.

Our focus is on artfully designed artisan botanical soaps and premium plant-based skincare. We have brand new product every month, both in-store and online, that highlights a particular theme. Many products are seasonally available or limited edition, but our most popular scents always make a return.

[In 2024] we had loads of fun creating unique and exciting designs that tie in to myths and fairy tales. Each of our product posts on the socials, as well as our product listings on our website, weaves a story of its own to delight and entertain! [For 2025 we have debuted] an entire Zodiac themed collection that delves into the origin stories of each of the signs and their associations. We have some big surprises coming for you with major wow factor!”

We can’t wait to see what Stephanie and Solstice Herb have in store this year!

Some North Carolina Love

SimplyNCgoods is all about loving and sharing North Carolina.  We invited Stephanie to share about something she appreciates about NC, and here is what she said:

“Having lived in the Piedmont [of North Carolina] for 15 years and a small biz owner in Pittsboro for 10yrs, I can say that North Carolina is unparalleled in being both welcoming and generous!

Small communities like ours truly understand how important it is to support local indie businesses. Our customers are hard-core, dedicated supporters of shopping small and buying local, whether they’re buying soap, grabbing dinner, or visiting the farmers market every week, they embrace our local small business community. Their support makes a positive impact on the lives of each and every business owner in our community!”

We love that Stephanie has experienced this in her time in North Carolina!  SimplyNCgoods is all about supporting the wide variety of creators, makers, and small business owners all around the state, and sharing their products with you!
