Lux & Lye is based out of Boone, North Carolina. Natalie’s mission with Lux & Lye is to provide products that help you express your beautiful self, naturally!
Bar soaps, lip balms, and body butters are the core products made by Lux & Lye. All of their products are made using plant-based oils and butters, which makes them a great choice for those who want to be sure they aren’t contributing to animal cruelty with their self-care routine.

The Lux & Lye Story
Natalie shared with us a bit of the story behind the creation of Lux & Lye:
“I started making products for personal use as I wanted to detox my body from the many chemical-heavy products I had used in the past. I chose to craft products that I would use every day. Since I have very very dry skin, I knew the products I formulated needed to do some heavy lifting to keep my skin soft and smooth.
Our core products, bar soaps, lip balms, and body butters do just that. It took over a year of adjusting my recipes until I was happy with each product line. Once I perfected my recipes, I shared them with friends and family who loved using the skincare line. I decided to start selling them to help encourage and educate people on the value of natural skincare. Although our products have simple, natural ingredients, they truly help give you a sense of luxury.”

Some North Carolina Love
Natalie shared with us that although she was not NC-born, North Carolina is the only place she can imagine calling ‘home.’
She shared,
“I love the diversity of the state, from the people and the environments. I love our state’s beautiful natural elements from the Coast, Piedmont, and my favorite the Mountains. I love that you can enjoy back roads and country towns and big cities within a short drive from each other. Most importantly I love the people who also call North Carolina home!”
