Dilworth Coffee

Dilworth Coffee is an artisan coffee roaster currently located in Raleigh, NC. Their coffees can be found in many local coffee shops and specialty retail stores around the the state, and can also be ordered directly from their online store.

The goal of Dilworth coffee, from the beginning, has been to give people a great coffee experience to enjoy when and how they choose.

How Dilworth Coffee Got Started

Dilworth Coffee was founded by Jeff Vojta, and he shared a bit out the history:

“Thirty years ago, in the historic Charlotte neighborhood of Dilworth, the original Dilworth Coffee House opened its doors, introducing specialty coffee, roasted onsite, to the city of Charlotte.

We introduced our coffees to one customer at a time, helping them find their own great coffee experience to enjoy, while simultaneously laying the groundwork for the specialty coffee industry. Our brand foundation is built on this simple goal of trying to satisfy each customer with great coffee.

Today, we’re an artisan coffee roaster, selling our coffee both locally and nationally. Head to our website at DilworthCoffee.com to check out our coffee collection.”

Jeff let us know that Dilworth Coffee also distributes wholesale coffee to a variety of coffee shops, cafes, specialty retailers, and hospitality companies. They moved their roasting headquarters from Charlotte, NC to Raleigh in 2011. In their current facility, Dilworth Coffee is able to offer classes and events, in addition to roasting their coffee in small batches.

North Carolina Appreciation

We’re giving all our “Meet the Maker” blog guests an opportunity to share something they appreciate about North Carolina.

Jeff’s first statement in response to this question was, “North Carolina is the “can do” state.”

He loves that North Carolina is a state all about creating great things and quality experiences, while still staying humble to our values and our roots.
