Bulletproof Sauces

Bulletproof Sauces, out of Raleigh, NC, is the work of Chef Rick DeMattos. Rick is of Portuguese and English descent, and has had a broad palate for culinary variety since he first began eating solid food as a young child.

Chef Rick and Bulletproof Sauces now offers 8 varieties of sauces, all cooked in small batches with fresh ingredients.

How Bulletproof Sauces Got Started

Chef Rick shared with us a bit about how his passion for food and cooking became a business:

“I lost my job to Covid and started making Marinara sauce for fun to pass the time. Things escalated quickly and we now produce eight flavors and are showing up in specialty markets across the state. Robust sauces for quick, easy dinners so you can spend [more] time with the family.”
