Welcome, welcome – thanks for dropping by the SimplyNCgoods blog! We are excited to utilize this space as another way to expand and share the SimplyNCgoods story.
WHO ARE WE?
We are Michelle & Gabriel, the real people behind SimplyNCgoods. We are both North Carolina natives, having a combined total of 90+ years in the state between the both of us.
Gabriel has training in videography, editing, and directing media productions. He currently works behind-the-scenes at a North Carolina news station, making sure the right thing gets on viewers’ screens at the right time.
Michelle is a licensed mental health therapist who provides telehealth counseling services through her private practice in NC. She focuses on working with folks experiencing the impacts of complex trauma, as well as supporting those dealing with anxiety, grief, and body image concerns.
We have found that there are so many things to love about our state, and we are passionate about sharing those things with others. We have also been lucky enough to meet some of the creative and entrepreneurial folks who call North Carolina home, and who have created businesses where they share their talents with others.
The subscription boxes offered by SimplyNCgoods are our way of supporting multiple small, local businesses, while also bringing some North Carolina goodness to your door each quarter. Head on over to our “How It Works” page to learn more.

WHY DO YOU KEEP REFERRING TO THE “SIMPLYNCGOODS STORY”?
You may have noticed that our communications often mention “the SimplyNCgoods story.” That’s because we truly do view the creation and sharing of these subscription boxes as part of a bigger story.
The SimplyNCgoods story includes Anna, who had the idea for a box filled with products from NC-based businesses. The story includes each North Carolina creator and artisan who has or will share their talents and passion for the state with those who receive boxes.
Every person who follows, likes, or shares a post from SimplyNCgoods on Facebook or Instagram is part of the story. Each and every email subscriber plays a role in the SimplyNCgoods story.
We, Michelle and Gabriel, are a part of the story as we seek ways to make sure folks know about this unique way to support multiple NC-based businesses.
